We have tried to make browsing our books as interesting as we can.We know we can never replace visiting a good bricks and mortar bookshop but we hope we can get close.

Searching

Our search looks at the words entered and gives a list of the books containing Either of the words used in the item title (which contains the author's name, book title and publisher). It is best to search for just an author's surname, adding a forename will widen the number of results to include all other authors with that forename not make the results more specific.

Browsing

We make an assessment about the main category for an author, we realise that it is not always black and white about whether an author writes crime fiction or thrillers etc. but we are, at least consistent, in that all of an author's books will appear in the same category.

Slide-shows

As well as browsing or searching text you can see our books in near real-life size (depending on monitor size). Books are sorted alphabetically within categories, making this a good way to see if there is another book by the same author. If you hover your mouse over the main book image a 'cooliris' icon will appear in the bottom left corner of the image. Clicking that will launch a slide-show of our books. This is enhanced if your browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer) has the cooliris plugin.
