About the Author

Author Picture

Jane Adams

Jane was born in Leicester and still lives there, though she wishes it could move closer to the sea. She is married with two children. Somewhere along the way she acquired a degree in Sociology and worked at various jobs, including singer in a folk rock band, barmaid, darkroom technician and customer advisor in a Building Society... not a good move for someone who can't add up. The martial arts mentioned in earlier biographical bits, Aikido and Tae Kwon Do, fell by the wayside a while back, though the Aikido may well make a come back as she needs the exercise or she might take up kick boxing, just for a bit of variety.

Synopsis of this title

Bird's grandfather is dying, haunted by the image from his youth of a woman hanging from a tree. Before he dies, Bird vows to uncover the true story behind this woman. Even if it points to her grandfather being a murderer
